The Boys and Girls club of Skagit county is hosting it's annual fundraising Dinner and Auction on Saturday night. It's a festive, fun filled evening of wonderful food and the most incredible, wildly desirable and extraordinary items up for auction that you will ever see gathered together in one room ready for your bidding pleasure. Bring your wallet. You're going to want to bid. Alot.
The Enchanted Florist will be donating to the auction One Dozen Long Stemmed Roses, arranged in vase. Every Month for an Entire Year! This is your chance to donate to a wonderful cause AND make brownie points for 12 entire months. It's a win win situation.
Saturday night at Saint Josephs Center. 6:30pm Tickets are $75 at the door. So go....Eat , Drink, Make Merry and Raise lots and lots of money for this very worth while cause. The kids'll thank you for it.
People from a world without flowers must think we would be mad with joy all the time to have such things around us....

Floral Ambassador

What do you do with a whole lot of left over flowers after a bridal faire. Well here at the Enchanted florist, we re- purposed them into about 40 spring nosegays and then sent 4 year old grandson Roo (not his real name) out with his dad to Life Care Center of Mount Vernon.
You could call it our own little "Make Someone Smile Day". Flowers are always a welcome gift. When they are presented by a cheery, smiling 4 year old...well that just makes every one's day a little bit brighter.
On the right is Roo, getting ready to go with a box of flowers behind him.
On the left is one of the many residents who were able to enjoy both a fresh bouquet and cheery smile from the miniature delivery boy.

Life Care Center is a wonderful facility both as a nursing home and a rehabilitation center. They have an excellent staff and take care to treat the residents and patients with kindness and care. My Dad and my grandparents have been patients there at one time or another so we know first hand how very good they are to their clients. It is always a pleasure to be able to give back to the community in a small way.
