People from a world without flowers must think we would be mad with joy all the time to have such things around us....

A wedding in the woods.

The flowergirls looked like miniature wood nymphs flitting through the forest, the bride glowed like a candle in her ivory gown, the groom and his 'men' were radiating sheer joy.
More than a marriage between two people, it was the creation of a family.

The flower girls carried bouquets of lavender stock and freesia with sheer lavender ribbons wrapping the stems. With fairy wings aflutter and flower halos in their hair, they charmed all of their delighted family and friends.
The young groomsmen wore dendrobium orchid boutonnieres to match their Dad's.
The bride carried "Cool Water" lavender roses circled with mysty blue limonium in bouquet with ivory ribbon wrapped stems.

Prom Season has begun

The fun has started with the local high school prom season. Here are a couple of wristlet corsages that I managed to take pictures of before they ran out the door.
Glitter and sparkle and fun little accents are the trends this year. As well as a mixture of blooms in each corsage for an interesting mix of textures and colors. And of course the newest rage are the keepsake wristlets that will last long after the prom. Made from a variety of rhinestones, pearls, vibrant beads, or the soft tones of the ocean and sky.
We also create individual handcrafted wristlets when the occasion demands. The gold bracelet with the pearl accents, pictured above, is one of our handcrafted designs.

Administrative Assistants Week

Administrative Assistant's Week (aka Secretary's Week for the politically incorrect) is coming up quickly, next week as a matter of fact.

Time to start thinking about how to say thank you for all the hard work that goes into making an office or small business run efficiently all year long. It's not the magic elves that keeps every thing and every one running smoothly on schedule. There is a real, live person (people) responsible for all that behind the scenes stuff and this is your opportunity to show your gratitude.

Lunch is nice. Lunch in Hawaii is better. Can't make a lunch date for a beach front restaurant in Kona? How about a gorgeous tropical bouquet full of color and fragrance that will make them feel like they've been whisked away to the Big Island.

Or a simple vase with a few delicious orchids. The many delectable colors to choose from and their exceedingly long vase life are just a couple of reasons that orchids are a very popular flower.

The bright and happy garden bouquet featuring Gerbera Daisys, tulips , and lilacs is another great choice. Just seeing this bouquet will make your assistant want to smile!

A vibrant mixture of spring tulips with gerber daisys, and mums in a clear vase wrapped with decorative wire is a fun way to say "You're the best!"

We have many more options including basket gardens, candy bouquets, balloons and more!
